About Our President

Kathy Schankowitz has been in the hospitality business for over twenty years.  She has worked for some of the world’s leading hotel companies in various senior sales management positions including, Marriott, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts and Hilton. 

Kathy was the Senior Sales Development Manager for the Orlando Convention and Visitors Bureau.  During her tenure, she oversaw the Bureau’s nationwide effort to attract new business for over two hundred member hotels. Specifically, her duties and responsibilities included promoting Orlando as a destination, client management, contract negotiation and providing other services for these accounts related to their meeting needs in the Orlando\Orange County metropolitan area.

Recognizing her passion for working directly with clients and helping them meet their individual meeting needs, in 2000, Kathy decided to form Meeting Link, Inc.  Since then, her reputation in the industry and her vast experience has attracted a significant stable of clients including, large corporations, law firms, entertainment companies, national associations and small businesses.
